An excerpt by Matthew Stempeck

As you probably know, the South has a long, hurtful legacy of intense race relations.  People like to say today that they've come a far way from slavery and bigotry, but it wasn't always this way.  Before Coach came on the air, there was still a lot of hate flowing.  But once he got going on primetime, and his message of judging by athletic talent over skin color spread, things started turning around.  And now I walk around campus, and I see black people, playing frisbee with white people, muslims riding bikes with jews.  And we owe it all to Craig.  Thank you, Craig, even though I'm white.

Baby, baby I know. Baby I love you so, but you don't feel like I do. And tell me what can I do? But i gotta be strong, and girl you did me wrong, and i thought we were really down. You say you want me girl? Make up your mind, cuz I'm not gonna be here for long. You know you know you know you want my loving, you gotta be twisted
